RSS Feed
RSS When you're equipped with a reader you will see summaries of web pages as they are updated. The
reader is a simple to use software program, called a
news feed aggregator, that lets you assemble RSS feeds in a
directory of channels that you have identified as interesting. Scrolling through these channels gives you
snapshots of a website's content, eliminating the need to surf
directly to the URL unless you want to see more. In essence, RSS is an easier, cleaner way to stay in touch with web sites of interest
when changes and/or additions to the content take
place. Want to get a RSS reader? IT-Expert on Call recommends FeedDemon —just great for beginners because the application comes already configured for feeds from
some popular sites and is extremely easy to
use.
