What is Content?
In essence content is information: news, facts or knowledge management, fiction, journals like weblog's, organization charts, illustrations, photos, audio/video, anything that communicates ideas and experiences or knowledge to some other person.
And information [content] without structure is meaningless; a random assortment of facts doesn't do anyone any good. So information [content] needs to be organized, needs to be structured, in a way that makes sense to the reader.
The Web is not a static thing, printed and stitched together. It's alive. It's always growing. It's hypertext It's Knowledge Management, and that requires a whole new way of thinking about your content.
Weblog - or blogs, represents an individual's thoughts and personality online.
Weblogs enable people to communicate, publicly or privately, with the
audience of their choosing.
There are two important considerations when it comes to interacting with the information contained within any weblog:
[1] Content, or what it is (such as how long is it, how important is it, is this something I need to know right this second, and can it wait until tomorrow?)
[2] Context, or where and how you are receiving it (such as via your mobile phone, Web browser, e-mail, or instant message?)
